The meeting will take place on June 25, 2023 with the purpose of facilitating a discussion about the role of professional librarians in technical services to increase membership engagement and help with planning future IG professional development events.
The chairs and vice-chairs sent out calls for proposals to multiple listserv to solicit topics of discussions during the meeting. What will your group be working on for the next 6 months?
After ALA Annual, the incoming Co-Chairs Alaine Mundt and Greg Ferguson will take over the responsibilities of the Interest Group.

Is there anything Core could have provided during this time that would have helped your group with its work?
The current Co-Chairs, Marina Morgan and Amy Fry were added very late (March 7, 2023) to the "Core Interest Group Chairs" community. Because of that, we missed important communications from Core, one of which was the Feb 1, 2023 deadline to pick a time slot for our IG discussion/meeting at ALA Annual. However, Jenny Levine and Thomas Ferren helped us and we were able to secure a meeting slot at ALA Annual.

Please provide suggestions for future education topics, initiatives, publications, resources, or other activities that could be developed based on your group’s work.
My suggestion is to change the submission date of this report after the annual conference.
