| First Activity | PVLR planned a program on accessibility for 2026 Interest Group Week, however due to extenuating circumstances with co-chairs, we were unable to hold the program and cancelled it. We do have a timeslot reserved at the upcoming 2026 ALA annual meeting for our annual discussion. |

It affords members the opportunity to gather and share issues and problems we may encounter so that we might resolve them in an equitable way for all concerned. |

The group met 2-3 times this quarter.
Recent Activities
First Activity
We have been focusing primarily on planning for our IG week presentation/discussion topic as that is most imminent.
We are waiting to hear back from the Arbinger Institute about their interest in presenting on Outward Mindset. If that falls through we have a Plan B as well as a Plan C. All options focus on communication and collaboration issues between libraries, publishers, and vendors.

We have also been planning the CORE Program at ALA Annual. The plan is for this to be follow up to our IG Week presentation topic.

Recent Activities
First Activity
The Publisher-Vendor-Library Relations interest group has been considering issues in our shared space from our many and varied perspectives. Key to this was our look at matters surrounding Accessibility in our Interest Group Week meeting. We continue to try and build bridges of understanding between our three groups knowing that we are working toward a shared goal of getting content into the hands of the users who need it.

What will your group be working on for the next 6 months?
We will be addressing the common pain points discussed at the ALA in-person meeting, once again looking at the multiple perspectives and fostering a sense of shared purpose within the group.

We had an initial discussion about using aspect of Arbinger's Outward Mindset program with the group with the intent of understanding many perspectives and not having Us versus Them conversations.

Participation in ALA Interest Group Week during spring 2021 — held a business meeting, introducing the PVLR co-chairs and the group's charge, soliciting ideas for future discussion topics and programs.

Second Activity
Program presented during ALA's Interest Group Week held in conjunction with the ALA Annual Conference 2021 titled: Navigating the Pandemic Blues – Closing Down and Reopening Issues for Publishers, Vendors, and Librarians. Ajaye Bloomstone (LSU Law) introduced the program, Carolyn Morris (SirsiDynix) moderated, and our speakers were: Michael Zeoli (DeGruyter), Bill Sherfey (HARRASSOWITZ), Laura Folaumahina (Backstage Library Works), and Ellen Amatangelo (BYU). A recap of the program will be printed in a future issue of Technical Services Quarterly.
