| First Activity | Unfortunately, the Heads of Library Technology Interest Group (HoLT) did not meet between January-May 2024. Doug Goans (Director of Technology at Emory University Library) originally volunteered to be the chair but in the early spring had changes in their work and personal life. In May, Doug started the process to move to another state and take a position as library director at a community college. The college was then migrating the ILS from Sierra to FOLIO which took more of Doug's time than anticipated. Therefore, the HoLT has remained dormant since that time. As of June 2024 Doug Goans has decided to step down as Chair to focus on his new role and library needs with FOLIO. Danielle Meininger (Systems Librarian at Tillamook County Library) may be in contact with the group to ask again if the group should continue or disband. |

| Fifth Activity | |
| What will your group be working on for the next 6 months? | The first order of business is to find a new chair and/or to confirm if the group should disband. |
| How did your work contribute to diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, or belonging within Core or the library profession? What areas of improvement do you see for your IG or Core in these areas? | See first comment. |
| Is there anything Core could have provided during this time that would have helped your group with its activities? | This group seems to be struggling to determine if it should continue or disband. |
| Please provide suggestions for future education topics, initiatives, publications, resources, or other activities that could be developed based on your group’s discussions or work. | See comments above. |
| Please describe anything you need to bring to the Core Board for discussion or action at their next meeting. | Perhaps check to see if there is a person that will assume the role of Chair or if it would be better to disband the group. I assume if there is a need for a technology focused group in the future, one or more CORE members could follow the process to recommend/rationalize the charge for a new group. |
| Please share any additional comments, concerns, or suggestions you have. | See comments above. |

What will your group be working on for the next 6 months?
Continue to attempt conversation amng the group.
Please provide suggestions for future education topics, initiatives, publications, resources, or other activities that could be developed based on your group’s work.
As I investigated being a co-chair links to the group were taking people to the wrong group. That was resolved but it is unsure how many members may have been disconnected from this group.
Additional comments or concerns:
I have tried to engage the small group of members with conversation but members are unresponsive.
