Is there anything Core could have provided during this time that would have helped your group with its work?
I would like to suggest establishing a quarterly meeting of Core committee chairs to discuss initiatives and places for collaboration. I am feeling somewhat disconnected from the Core Board with the loss of in-person conferences. If there have been broader meetings, I have missed the announcements and apologize for missing those important meetings.

Please provide suggestions for future education topics, initiatives, publications, resources, or other activities that could be developed based on your group’s work.
Core Publications is working to develop monographs on EDI, AI, Continuity planning, person-centered management, competencies for preservation specialists, and reparative cataloging.

Additional comments or concerns:
Almost two years of virtual meetings as the primary means of work has been an exercise in adaptation. The Core Publications Coordination Committee began meeting virtually in spring 2021 and this has been one of the most positive experiences in my profession. The membership of this committee is outstanding. All members are engaged and actively participate during Zoom meeting discussions, through email, and in the completion of action items. The members are incredibly professional, and enthusiastic. I greatly miss in-person meetings and am hoping that ALA Annual is a-go because I want to meet each member in person and if they will let me, give them a big hug!!
